Hairstyling & Hair Design Course ADVANCED

Who is this course for?

The ADVANCED course by Dvir Tvik is designed for experienced hairdressers and hair designers who want to deepen their skills, elevate their work to the next level, enter the world of bridal hairstyling, explore advanced and unique design aesthetics, and gain a competitive edge. The course covers innovative and exclusive techniques. Participants will be introduced to new products and tools and learn how to use them correctly. Recommended as a follow-up course for graduates of the BASIC course.

Course Details

Course Scope

The course includes 4 sessions of approx. 4 full hours each + participation in a bridal event accompaniment on a pre-scheduled date coordinated with the participant.

Prior Knowledge

Prior knowledge and experience in hair design required.

Boutique Class

Small class of up to 12 participants only, for maximum effectiveness and quality learning.

Dvir Tvik & Schwarzkopf Professional Israel Hair Design Academy, CITY TECH Science & Technology Park (Menrav), HaBossem St. 3, Building 4, Floor 3, Ashdod.

Course Requirements

100% Attendance at Sessions

Personal Equipment

Blow dryer, round brushes in two sizes (two sizes recommended), hairbrush, curling iron 26/32mm diameter (if you have both sizes, highly recommended to bring both).

A Model for Each Session

The model should arrive 2 hours before the end of the session (a mannequin head can be provided instead).

Course Curriculum

Session 1 - 10:00-14:00

Part 1

Welcome – Opening session & getting to know Dvir. Instructor: Dvir Tvik.

Review of products, materials, and styling tools. Instructor: Dvir Tvik.

The PREP method – in-depth lesson on preparing hair for advanced styling. Instructor: Dvir Tvik.

Session 2 - 10:00-14:00

Part 2

Ponytail lesson – high / center / low / low with twist. Instructor: Dvir Tvik.

Advanced ponytail techniques and variations. Instructor: Dvir Tvik.

Session 3 - 10:00-14:00

Part 3

High updo / horseshoe look lesson. Instructor: Dvir Tvik.

Collected updo look – advanced styling. Instructor: Dvir Tvik.

Session 4 (Bridal Accompaniment) - 15:00-19:00

Bouffant ponytail + side ponytail lesson (including preparation for side ponytail). A lesson designed to provide tools for working with a bang, which can sometimes be challenging. Extension attachment – advanced techniques.

Joining a Bridal Salon Experience

Each participant will be eligible to join the Dvir Tvik Studio team for a bridal venue experience, to witness first-hand the working methods, small tips, and the correct and professional way to change hairstyles.

Date coordination is based on availability and advance scheduling only.
